…and through these trees!

Some mushroom shots…

Some bugs procreating…?

Exploring Canada’s national parks has been a real treat, and we really hope to be able to come back some day to see more of the same parks, and to explore new ones!

Gas Still Rising

Back in high school, I had a pen pal in Wisconsin who always wanted to know how gas prices were around the rest of the country.  Well here is the update:

I believe gas broke the $4 mark back in March.  Palo Alto currently boasts $4.49 per gallon for 87 octane gas.  Spending $50 for gas a week is so easy.

Part of me feels like we should just “go big or go home.”  Crank it to $8 or $10, and see if we can effect some social change.   …but that’s just me.

Guessing Game

Due to recent events in the Middle East and Libya, gas prices have risen noticeably.  Much of Palo Alto, for example, currently boasts offerings of at least $4 per gallon.  I’m not a fan of the gas speculation game, but don’t mind the extra incentive to bike and bus.  :)
